The GovDeals revamped website is better than ever. We have revolutionized our site to give you an exceptional surplus experience. The assets that you’ve come to know and love are all still available for your bidding pleasure, however, the overall look and usability of the GovDeals platform has been completely transformed. Read below to find out what’s new.
MEGA Menu - Directly from the homepage you can now search through grouped category families, current auction locations, and auctions closing soon or newly listed. The "View All" menu will display all categories with auctions currently on the site.
Location Search – The Location Search you know and love is back! This search allows you to find assets by entering a zip code and specifying a search radius from that designated location. The search results will list sellers with available assets based on their distance from the location.
Auctions in Your Time Zone – no more guessing auction end times or relying on Google or a world clock app to see what time the auction will close in your time zone. All auction end times will be posted in the time zone your IP address is set to.
Enhanced Searches – Finding the assets you love has never been easier. Our predictive text search allows you to easily pinpoint live auctions and will make sorting through more than 200 categories a breeze.
Advanced Search - Location, Classic, Advanced, and Vehicle search have all been remodeled and consolidated to help you to find the surplus you need more accurately.
Category Landing Pages – With hundreds of categories to choose from it can be hard to pick just one. With our updated Category Landing Pages, you can now sort and search through multiple groups of categories at once!
Seller Landing Pages – Your favorite GovDeals sellers now have their own featured landing pages on GovDeals. Using their specific URL, (ex. govdeals.com/stateofnewyork) you can see and search through all their current auctions.
Live Notifications – Registered bidders will receive a live notification when they have won an auction, when an asset has been awarded, once payment has been made and received, and so much more!
*New* Saved Search Feature - Your Favorites on classic GovDeals is now Saved Search, a new experience that will allow you to save any of your filtered searches and even add criteria.
